5 Magical Winter Wedding Themes

If you’re planning a winter wedding, now’s the time to start considering what colors you might want. Of course, you’re likely to keep seeing the standby ice blue-white-silver themes, so we’ve come up with five magical winter wedding themes complete with color palettes that you can use for inspiration.

1) Red, Gold, and Ivory, with Plenty of Flowers

Elegant with a pop of color, decorate your venue with ivory tablecloths, gold table runners and charger plates gold accents, and make things pop with chair ties and napkins in a rich garnet hue. It’s not too holiday-esque, but it’s a color combination that is wintery and gorgeous.

2) Silver, Orchid, Dark Brown, and White

For this palette, use shimmering or sequined silver table linens, and set them off with crisp white dishes. For the centerpieces and floral arrangements, choose orchid-colored floral arrangements and complementary pinks and purples, and accent them with smaller white flowers that have dark brown branches to create depth.

3) Icy Gray, Bright White, and Grass Green

If you’re planning on wearing a bright, crisp white dress, accent it by having your bridesmaids wear a very pale gray, and use ivory colored table cloths on the tables. Brighten up the look by ensuring that the floral arrangements’ stems are all highly visible‚ use clear vases and for the bridal party’s bouquet, use only a small ribbon to tie things together. The bright green makes this color scheme look extra elegant.

4) Black, White, and Red

A classic and elegant look for a winter wedding is black and white with pops of red. This color scheme can be used in both the bridal party’s attire as reception décor. With the bride in white, dress the bridal party in black with bouquets and boutonnieres in red. For the tables, white tablecloths with lace runners, black charger plates and napkins add luxury, while deep red floral arrangements complete the look.

5) Gold, Green, and Tan

For a gorgeous and rich looking wedding theme in the winter, highlight gold and dark green, and accent it with tan accessories. For instance, use tan tablecloths, gold runners and charger plates, and dark green chair covers and napkins. Keep the look simple and clean with ivory and white flower arrangements and centerpieces.
