12 Ideas for Incorporating Metallics into Your Event Décor

Metallics are taking over tablescape designs this year, and I couldn’t be happier! After all, gold and silver are my favorite colors, and I love to see them incorporated into almost everything—especially event tables! To share the love and help you get your own gorgeous metallic table design, I’ve shared some tips for rental table linen and decor with you that will get your tables shining in no time!

1) Try a gold-on-gold table design.

Mix gold rental table linen with gold accessories, including candles, plates, silverware and more.

2) Add in an accent color, like pink or radiant orchid, to make your decor some contrast.

Even though these colors aren’t metallics, they’ll still totally fit in with the look!

3) Or, try a variation of the traditional gold with rose gold!

This pretty pink metallic is romantic and refined.

4) Choose a gold cake.

Even though it’s not technically part of the decor, it will add to your overall metallic look!

5) Use a sequin table runner, like the Mercury Sequin.

It’s an easy yet powerful way to add to your metallic theme.

6) Use gold vases as your centerpieces.

Fill them with white peonies for a neutral look, or add in faux flowers spray painted gold or silver.

7) Use a backdrop of tinsel behind your cake table.

The extra shine will really complement your design, especially if you chose a shiny rental linen for the table.

8) Place sequin gold letters of you and your partner’s initials for some glitzy personalization.

They’re a cute addition to any table design!

9) If you’re going the rustic wedding route, add gold and white striped straws to your guest’s mason jar glasses.

The little things make a big difference, after all!

10) Hold your napkins together with gold napkin rings.

The Gold Prescott Napkin Ring is simply to die for, and it adds a subtle touch of polish to your table linen design.
