The most popular overlay size is 90SQ, but 96RD & 108RD’s make lovely overlays too. Usually an overlay is smaller than the linen it’s placed over, creating an obvious layering effect. An overlay can also be the same size as the linen it’s placed over, with just a bit of the bottom cloth showing for a subtle look or, the overlay can be swagged for an elegant and dramatic table.
